Play Guitar And Make Martini With Google G1 Phone

Google’s new mobile phone which goes on sale next tuesday will allow users to learn to play the guitar, find the cheapest place to buy a CD and discover how to mix the perfect cocktai as it is pre-packed with 50 free applications to their handset offering a range of service.

The G1 will be available for free on a number of T-Mobile’s £40 per month contracts. More than 25,000 people have already expressed an interest in switching to the device, said T-Mobile.

“T-Mobile is committed to opening up the internet to give customers the freedom to do whatever they want online,” said Jim Hyde, chief executive officer of T-Mobile.

“When the internet has no boundaries it drives innovation and the T-Mobile G1 and the Android platform is designed to do just that. We believe the T-Mobile G1 has the potential to revolutionise the way we use and view our phones.”

  3. It is amazing to me that cell phones are basically becoming smaller personal computers. There is so many great things you can now do from your phone, I wonder how long before the PC becomes obsolete.

  4. I like G1 much better than iPhone even that I’m an Apple fan. But G1 has lot more features which makes it more useful for me.
