Apple Takes A Step Ahead With iPhone

After the success of iPod that sold more than 70 million copies since it was intoroduced in 2001, Apple Inc. is making one more step ahead in coupling the device into a mobile phone with the iPhone.

This was announced at the annual Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, with Apple’s chairman, Steve Jobs, claiming the company has “reinvented the phone.”

The iPhone will be released in the US by June of this year, last quarter in Europe and by 2008 in Asia. As stated, a 4gb iPhone will cost around $499 and 8gb for $599.
