Google Ventures Xunlei Network

Google and Chinese online firm Xunlei Network Technology earlier announced a new internet venture as the search engine giant expands its share of China’s fast growing online market.

“We hope to expand our relationship into many new areas over the coming years,” Xunlei Network president Zou Shenglong said in a statement.

Google is expanding its presence in China as it only ranks behind baidu.com, a local search engine which owns 60% of the country’s search market.

Google is looking forward into adding their search technology  into Xunlei’s video and games download services.
